iRest Yoga Nidra is a simple and accessible form of meditation designed for modern day living, rooted in the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra.   This secular, step-by-step meditation practice incorporates mindfulness and somatic processes that produce deep relaxation and allow for self-inquiry.  Develop a powerful set of tools to elevate your well-being, foster resilience and acceptance in the face of life's experiences.  

Research into iRest has shown it to effectively reduce PTSD, insomnia, depression, anxiety and chronic pain whilst increasing resilience, health and wellbeing.  Experience more restful sleep, a deeper sense of calm, reduced stress and much more.

Each class is 75 minutes comprising of time to settle in, an introduction to the focus for the evening and a 35-40 minute guided practice, finishing with a chance to debrief and chat.  During the sessions you will learn the steps of iRest through discussion and guided meditations and be given an introduction to the Eastern & Western perspectives which form the foundation of iRest.

Come away with a series of techniques which you can use anytime and anywhere to improve your mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

As with any journey towards well-being, regular practice is the essential key to unlocking its full potential.  Each week you will receive a recording of the live session and advice on how to work with the protocol to support your practice at home.

This is suitable for all levels including beginners and more experienced meditators. No specific fitness levels are needed, this is not a physical yoga class.
